NHS Lambeth CCG Visual Identity

Project Information __ Clinical Commissioning Groups, or CCGs, are NHS organisations that were set up by the Health and Social Care Act 2012 to organise the delivery of NHS services in England. They are clinically led groups that include all of the GP groups in their geographical area. Their aim is to give GPs and other clinicians the power to influence commissioning decisions for their patients. CCGs are overseen by NHS England and replaced what were Primary Care Trusts (PCTs). At the end of March 2013 there were 211 CCGs. CCGs operate by commissioning healthcare services including: elective hospital care; rehabilitation care; urgent and emergency care; most community health services and mental health and learning disability services. They work with patients and healthcare professionals and in partnership with local communities and local authorities. In 2013 Rehabdesign were commissioned to design new visual identities for many newly formed CCGs. The identities needed to reflect the location of each individual CCG and also acknowledge the specific needs and characteristics of the local population. Below are some examples of the identity and materials we have produced for NHS Lambeth CCG to date.
