Habitus Disgustica

Project Information __ Have you ever asked yourself whether picking your nose and eating it is such a terrible thing? Could it in fact be good for you? Are you aware that a seemingly innocent hand gesture could offend and appall someone from another country? And why is it that so many men 'miss the target' and splash the toilet seat, only to leave it for someone else to clean up? We were commissioned to design Habitus Disgustica, a light-hearted but informative illustrated reference book detailing every rude, unpleasant, and disgusting habit known to man (or women). We designed the cover of the book to mimic an old fashioned encyclopaedia and used a traditional multi section case binding with a cloth spine to give it an authentic look. Over 100 entries are covered inside the book with hand drawn step-by-step illustrations demonstrating each vile habit.
